Kyocara has launched a “cell phone” hotspot offering customers a “cheaper” option to purchase a handset and internet service.
The company is offering its customers a €1.299 monthly subscription to its service, which lets them use their own mobile hotspot to communicate and make calls, read emails, browse the internet, and download apps.
A user could sign up for the service by visiting a kiosk, where they can pick up a prepaid SIM card, a phone card and a Wi-Fi password.
The phone and internet connection can be used from anywhere, including at home, at work, or while travelling.
Kyocera is offering the service to customers in Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, and the United Kingdom.
It has also started offering it in Poland.
