Apple is to install a new iPhone in Britain, India and Indonesia, it said on Wednesday, adding to a growing list of countries where the new iPhone 6 will launch.
The iPhone 6S, which is expected to arrive in the UK this month, will come with an improved display, a bigger battery and a higher resolution camera, according to Apple’s website.
It is the latest of the iPhone models to be made available to the UK.
The US company will also launch the iPhone 6C in India, the site added.
The company said the iPhone 5S will be launched in China, Japan and the United Arab Emirates.
The new iPhone comes with a new A7 chip and new A9 chip, which are more powerful than previous generations, the company said.
The upgrade to the A9 processor, which has been in use on the iPhone X for a while, means the phone’s performance will improve.
The new A8 processor, meanwhile, is designed for the iPhone 7, which will be unveiled next week.
The UK launch will be made possible by the UK’s new £200 per phone rebate scheme, which aims to get some of the UK phone users to upgrade to new phones for the first time.
