Sony is still selling the Xperia Z series of smartphones in Australia.
The company did not comment on what was happening with the Z3 and Z4, but confirmed that the phones are not yet sold in the country.
While the company is selling the Z4 line in Australia and the Z2 series in the US, the Z5 line is not yet available in Australia either.
The Z5 was announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona earlier this year and is available now in Australia for $199.99.
The handset is designed to compete with the likes of the OnePlus 3T and the OnePlus 5T.
There’s a $400 premium for the Z1 version of the handset, while the Z6 and Z5 are $650.
It’s unclear what impact the lack of sales in Australia will have on the prices of the devices.
We’ve reached out to Sony for more information.
