With the cost of cell phone technology steadily declining, manufacturers are turning to cheaper, more convenient and more versatile options for a bigger share of the market.
The latest trend is the cell phone magnifier, which was developed by Cellcrest Laboratories in conjunction with Philips, Toshiba and other manufacturers to provide a cheap and portable alternative to the increasingly pricey and cumbersome cell phones that are used by many Americans.
The company’s first cell phone amplifier, the Cellcret M2, costs just $99 and offers a range of features that make it a better choice than the pricier and more cumbersome cell phone hotspots and cell phone chargers.
The M2 amplifiers can provide up to 1.5 watts of power, with a 1.2-inch wide beam of radiation.
It also has an integrated Wi-Fi module that can be connected to a computer, smartphone or other wireless device for high-speed internet access.
The device, which sells for $199, includes an infrared sensor that can detect the position of a cell phone, a USB port for transferring photos and other data, a microphone, a battery indicator light, and a 3.5-inch touchscreen display.
Cellcost says its Amplifier II, which it is currently marketing in Japan, will be available in China in 2018.
While the amplifiers have proven popular, Cellcst Labs’ product is far from the only cell phone device with a magnifying glass.
Other manufacturers are now also offering magnifying glasses, including Apple, Sony, Samsung and others.
And as the cost and popularity of cell phones continue to drop, cell phone manufacturers are also turning to other ways to boost their profits.
According to the National Association of Manufacturers, cell phones and other wireless devices accounted for about 25 percent of the U.S. market in 2020, a decline of about 25 million devices.
The next best-selling cell phone is the Nokia 5, which had sales of nearly 100 million in 2018, according to market research firm IDC.
Cellphone amplifiers are a small but growing segment of the overall wireless market.
In the first quarter of 2019, a total of 13.7 million cell phones were sold in the U, up from 11.6 million in the same period in 2018 and a jump of more than 20 percent from the same quarter a year earlier.

In a statement, a spokesman for Cellcront said its Amplification II is the latest in a series of cell device amplifiers that offer wireless networking and other features that enable users to enjoy high-quality video and photo calls and other high-definition multimedia.
The product offers a 1-inch diameter beam of infrared radiation that can determine the position and position of cellphones, a Wi-fi module for transferring pictures and other content and a microphone that can listen to a voice and answer a phone call.
With the proliferation of mobile phones, cell carriers are using cell phone amplifiers to extend their networks and to expand their networks to areas where cell phones are not widely used.
“We’re trying to bring more people into the mobile phone market,” said Jim Sine, a Cellcrowd analyst.
“Cellphone magnifiers, in combination with the Wi-fii network, give people an easy way to do that.”
Cellphone hotspots are a smaller segment of cell tower sales, which accounts for about one-fifth of the total cell tower market in the United States, according the IDC report.
One of the biggest reasons for the increase in cell phone use, however, is the emergence of high-end smartphones that allow people to connect more quickly and cheaply than ever before.
For example, the average smartphone now weighs more than two pounds and takes up about a third of a cellphone’s space.
And because smartphones are becoming more popular, they are also becoming more portable and easier to use, which means more people are using them to surf the Web, watch TV and socialize with friends.

These devices use infrared light and a high-powered laser to produce a high intensity image that can then be magnified by a cell signal.
The Magnifier II can do this for up to one megapixel in size, but it is much cheaper than cell phone antennas and can be mounted
